tell him you want a refund for the mounting and balancing or you want a new wheel (which would be atleast 600 shipped) but a small paint chip(unless its on the face) isnt that bad so free mounting and balncing is a decent trade off like 50 dollar value.

when you take in nice rims you gotta tell them "expletive my **** up im gonna blow up the building"

did u get any type of receipt? did u sign anything before hand? like for example:

did it say they are not responsible for the damage while mounting any custom wheel packages?

i say just go over to the manager on monday and just talk to them peacefully about it. nothing and nobody is perfect. i am pretty sure they will just refer you to a qualified wheel repair place and take care of the bill. my friend went through the same thing at a discount tire(america's) nearby and they took care of him by just replacing the whole rim. it wasn't anything fancy like your te37 but they resolved it.

good luck to you.

I wouldn't be able to live with that scratch. Happened to me mounting my tires on. I made them pay for the full amount of the rim with shipping.

For a 1/2 inch scratch - which, let's face it, is really really minor - I think that's a very generous offer. Take it!

True but for some people like me - I could never live with it. I'm just too ****. I'd end up buying a whole new rim and using that one as a spare or something.

you have no proof they actually damaged your rim, which you need to show in small claims, America's tire will just refund your mounting cost if that.

always look over any work that was done on your car, no matter what it is at the store before you leave. Make sure you bring a camera as well, i've never let anyone touch my car, but i can see how mounting a tire is a odd ball thing.

kinda **** out of luck, send a demand letter with all your info to america tires home office, as well as a receipt of your rim cost.

it cost 40$ to file a small claims.
