Ok,friend bught this b16 teg for 600 bucks, the kid he bought it from was kinda dumb, he put a fuel pressure regulator on the car, (its stock) Friend had a check engine light on, we got this print out from a friend at a shop, it has a list of codes, so were lookin at the LED on the ECU, frriend turns the key on, one led flash. the sheet says Oxygen content. the car was running like complete crap


there has been fuel in the oil somehow, so we figure the fuel in the oil is makin an 02 Sensor bad so we run and engine flush and change the oil

So i end up taking off this after market fuel pressure regulator off, and hooking up the stock one, car seemed to stop miss firing and run alot better..

But the check engine light is still on, what could be wrong

we also got some vaccumn diagrams and reconnected most of the lines, at least the most important ones

what could be causing fuel to get in with the gas.

 

Dont know what would cause gas in the oil, might be more than a simple fix but I would do new spark plugs, new wires, new valve and head gaskets, new O2 sensor, make sure the fuel pump is working, check every line I could find to make sure there is no leaks. While doing that you'll probably find out whats causing the fuel in the oil and be able to fix it.

 

Yea, Im Trying to figure out what it could be. Someone said that it was trying to start it so much that it got into the oil, but i dono
