Fuel Issues
91 civic hb. Had a new Fuel pump put in a few weeks ago into the car (its my buddys). Now it dosent get fuel all the time. IF you start it it will run forever. But if you try to start it after it ran for x ammout of time, no more fuel. I have it on jack stands now cause im "fixing" the cat, and i tried to start it and it wouldnt. SO i removed the fuel line that goes into the intake that comes from the driverside firewall (right behind the shock tower) and placed it into a soda bottle, and cranked it over. Nothing came out, so the pump isint doing anything. Where do the electric wires run to the pump? Is there a relay that controls the pump? What do i do now to see if its getting juice. I replaced the ground from the bat. to engine, the valve cover to chassis also. The car will run early in the morning, and late at night, but once u run it, it wont re-start untill it "cools" But the last time i did it, it wouldnt start after running it for 10 secs.
