yoink does anyone know how much the original 15 inch split rim mugen mr5 alloys sold for in japan?

They haven't been produced for quite some time. I think it's close to 6 years since they were last produced. You can't buy them new anymore, unless you find someone that bought them and never used them.

Back in the day, I think they were around $150 a rim or so (for the 15" model).

i would have to disagree with you there, bud but nice try, my man. you are still very knowledgeable in my book and very helpful at that

the mr-5 was last produced at least over 10 years ago. it was first introduced for the last mugen crx (not del-sol)

i would say the cost new for one rim had to be at least in the $300 area.

Is that $300 usd or aud?

And, when was Mugen first founded? Because I know their 20th anniversary model MR-5 wasn't the last year the MR-5 was produced. That may help shed some light on their last year of production.

Hehe, yeah I've chatted with both many times before. Opossum (was mr. rlx), aka Ralph, and I chat a lot.
