Help Plz! Mainshaft Bearing Came Apart!
While trying to get the case of my transmission back on, the mainshaft bearing got stuck in the end of the case. Thinking I could just use a pilot bearing puller (stupid > me) I tried to remove it. The inner race seperated from the outer and now I've got the *****, the inner and outer races and the holder.
Can this bearing be reassembled, or do I have to get a new bearing? If I get a new bearing, do I have to re-shim the mainshaft?
Edit: and the outer race is still stuck in the case. How the expletive do I get this thing out?
