Default Question about selling

I currently have a 98 accord with coil overs, exhaust, intake, and led gauges. My question is, is my car worth less because of these mods when i go to sell? would i make more money parting it out back to stock and then selling? thanks

Alright, what about upgraded speakers and an amplifier? Would those add or detract from it?

generally add. when i sold my altima to buy my accord i spend well over $1000 on my system. About a year after i had put the system in it i sold the car for 2000 my car was worth 1500-1600 so i made a couple hundred back with the system in it.

selling a system separate kind of loses its value i think. around here people sell systems cheap as hell. you can get 2 12s and a box for 100 easy where as if the car comes with it pre-wired hidden and the person doesn't buying it doesn't know how to install a system it can be about as much as the labor they would pay to have it installed.

Modded cars are cheaper. People assume that the car has been abused. Always try to go to stock when selling a car.

As for your audio equipment...I don't know. Some people might like it.

sell the car as is, the difference in money between the car now in its condition and with all the parts removed will be negligible and wont be worth removing and reinstalling parts.
