I was on the Carbon Creation website looking at carbon hatch and it says " NOTE: Some trunks/hatches may have springs or shocks that must be removed for proper fitment. Most hatches require removal of the oem glass. You must replace the oem glass with an aftermarket version not sold by Extreme Dimensions, Inc. Please contact your local race shop."
Does anybody know where I can purchese this glass what glass they are talking about or if its even needed? Thus reusing the oem glass.

I don't think there is a point in replacing the OEM glass...

 

I believe it is called FAL glass or plexiglass. just google FAL. If you are looking to shave weight then you will have to use FAL, if you are just going for looks i think you can use the OEM glass. Most of the weight is the OEM glass.

And FAL and other lexan windows scratch, turn yellow or haze real easy, so thats another con especially on a daily driver. Also, im pretty sure that lexan windows are not DOT approved.
