Is there a way to check if ur speedometer is wrong, because when i am driving on a 45mph speed limit area, people tend to pass me n sometimes cut me even though im driving arouind 50-55mph. Also it seems that i get to 55-60mph quickly and still feels kind of slow. Is there an explanation to it?

Get a friend with a new car and drive next to each other and talk on cell phones.

Or if you have a gps unit most of them will tell you elevation and land speed.
