Hey guys, this question is in regards to my crx with a B swap. I have an LS cable trans and was wondering if there is any way to adjust how much travel is necessary to disengage the clutch. Right now, I have to shift by pushing the clutch all the way to the floor where as with my hydro trans in my old civic only needed about half of that and it was just as easy with my other crx with the d15. Is this normal for the LS trans or is something bent/misaligned? If nothing is wrong, what if I rigged the cable to attach it further down on the shift arm on the trans via a custom bracket or something and then adjusted the cable to compensate? Im just looking for some way to shift faster/easier with less effort. Thanks
inside the engine bay pull up on your clutch cable thats attached to your trans shift release arm, just enough so the arm stops moving up ... not to hard. ... then screw down the black screw on the top portion of your shift cable at the bracket and your shift point should be a lot closer to top of pedal... mine is pretty close to top or at least half way, very easy to push and my clutch lasted me over 2 years now
