A/C should be pretty self-explanatory. Evacuate the system, remove all the lines and everything attached to them, bam you're done. If you want to remove the heat system, just remove the heater core and loop the lines back together at the block.
You know that they are two separate systems right?

Seriously, you need to download the CRX workshop manual, you'll find all the pictures you'll need in there. There should be a link to it in the FAQ, otherwise, just Google it.

Do you have to take the dash out to get both out or just the heater? I was thinking about gutting the a/c condenser but don't want to have to take the dash out to get to it.
another question. do i have to drain/flush the radiator to pull some of the heater hoses? sorry havent looked into it yet. its been raining lately so i couldnt work on it.
but if it is the case the least i can do is buy coolant.

Have you read the rules for auto-x? Some of the things you are doing are going to out class your car and put you in a class that you may not be competitive.
Your car is a STD? And it has AC? I have a 91 Civic hatchback STD and it doesn't have AC. I thought that was on the DX models.

AC was an option available at every trim level.

i plan on running DM for autocross. dont plan on attending nationals just doing it for fun. and the car will be a dual driver so i will be competing against the other driver so that will be good enough for me.

Heck YES It's been raining in IL!!!
Anywho, you can also try and order a Helm's Manual if you want. The company is a bit tricky to get it from; they get a bunch of people, and then when there is enough demand for an edition to be printed, they do, or go to Ebay and look.
Good Manual.
The .pdf files online are all just scans of that book.
I think it's MUCH nicer to have a REAL book in front of you, and printing it out will cost you about as much as buying one anyway....
I got mine for ~$50. Considering cost of Paper + Ink, that's not bad.
It has diagrams and explanations for pretty much everything. The diagrams are good, but since it's a shop manual, they expect you to know a certain amount, so the explanations suck if you're a beginner/novice...
