LS wires on GSR = Spark Plug Blowout??
I just put a VTEC head on recently and sometimes i'll hit 10-15lbs or so and the car will buck like the park is blowing out or it is really out of tune. The wideband looks okay though. I couldn't figure it out, then i remembered i was running LS wires which are a little too short. Do you think this could be the cause? I think it might be, but I wanted to get a second opinion before I started throwing parts at the car.
The plugs are gapped the same as they were when i was straight LS-T. I made more power than I am now at 15lbs, so i'm pretty sure its not a gap thing.

Running the correct spark plug wires is throwing parts at the car? Are they making a good connection to the spark plugs? I bet its arcing and you dont even know it.

i think you are right. it feels like it gets on there, but it's not a solid connection like it should be.
i'm running a .028 gap.
EDIT: I suppose I should update this. For some reason, the gap needed to be tighter on a GSR head. Interesting.
