Obviously I'm bored. These are just my first ideas, expect many more! I'll post my favorite one first with the Oak Tree @ VIR. Trying to make these as printable as possible for sticker/shirts/posters or whatever. I have a ton of ideas so stay tuned!

This isn't the VIR track, it's just a sample of what I'd like to do, I can find something with VIR in it yet that's usable.

That's my favorite too, took me awhile searching through Expo 7 picture threads to find a good shot of the actual Oak Tree. Finally found a great one Stunna Ben took.

...and I know we all know that PYRs owns all, but the CW has to be in front, you know how it is.

 

I know. I'm just having a hard time envisioning it.

All looks great but is it me or does the CW have a non-red emblem?

 

We all know the PY is the best one and should be in front and have the others where they should be..as Sidekickz!

I like the first one with the tree. How about putting a ghost outline of the full track in the black space under the cars, behind the track name and dates. And of course the obligatory: the NBP should be in front .

 

dude, I'm heavy into media design, and I think your work looks great.

Here is my opinion on it. Maybe, as like just a teaser? (Like in the movie world) you could eliminate the text at the top and bottom, and just put a big red 8.

Or even, expo8.... but no other words. That would be hot, and those in the know, would immediately recognize it. Good design for a t-shirt too. Then you could release the "text" version later on. It's obvious with the cars that it's an ITR thing. So a poster with that picture, and just expo8 or then number 8 would be hot as explitive. Maybe throw one up real quick, and see how you like it?

oh, and keep the text at the bottom.

HAHA, and they have this habit of whining the "CW FTMFW" at you that could almost be considered classic. It makes me laugh, anyway, because it's so easy to get those C-dub people riled up. *ducks to avoid incoming C-dub backlash*

here is my opinion...maybe it would be cool if it was like a new design and not a rip-off of my expo7 logo

 

Looks good Cory. I think either design would work, but I feel that given the dark background the *BP R is a little hard to see. I would try a shade or 2 littler on the background color so all 3 cars are crisp and clear.

Some good points guys, I'll work on some a little later and complete this version of it, then work on some completely new ones.

one major suggestion is to have integra type and expo 8 not be either the same color or size....

make one white and a few points larger... I'd suggest the integra type R part (keeping the R red of course)

killer design though.. did you do this in a vector-based program like illustrator so it can be blown up properly?

there could be some cleaning up around the cars, especially between the background garbage in the windows of the PY... but I love the concept... way to get a headstart!

I also suggest putting http://WWW.ITRCA.COM instead of ITRCA.COM, I know it takes you to the same place but having 3 prefix and 3 suffix letters really balance things out.
