p30 auto to a manual?/(RP18?)

well the problem is i got a auto p30 and not a manual p30 for my manual car. (thats probably why my vtec does not work) i know i have to "RP18 needs to be lowered in value from 2.4k ohms to 1.4k ohms." i dont know how or/ where this is to do it. a pic or a location would be great.

To be honest with you, I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a automatic p30 ecu. Whats the label on the side read? 37820-p30-xxxx

it is 37820-p30-900. thank you very much. another question do you know how i lower the value of the RP18 from 2.4k ohms to 1.4k ohms?

Nevermind, I was wrong...I guess japan came out with a b16a with a automatic trans...

As for running a lower value, go to jameco.com and look for a 1.4k ohm resistor.

you have to remove the auto part of the ecu and add the manual parts to get rid of the check engine so you vtec will work, ive had this done but professionally
