Default p30 auto to a manual?/(RP18?)

well the problem is i got a auto p30 and not a manual p30 for my manual car. (thats probably why my vtec does not work) i know i have to "RP18 needs to be lowered in value from 2.4k ohms to 1.4k ohms." i dont know how or/ where this is to do it. a pic or a location would be great.

To be honest with you, I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a automatic p30 ecu. Whats the label on the side read? 37820-p30-xxxx

I'll find you a picture online that shows where the rp resistors are located...

RP18 is in the row of resistors in the bottom of this pic

Nevermind, I was wrong...I guess japan came out with a b16a with a automatic trans...

"OBD1 JDM P30-900 91 EG9 Civic Ferio B16A AT (155 hp 15,6 kg*m)" what i found on google...

As for running a lower value, go to jameco.com and look for a 1.4k ohm resistor.

you have to remove the auto part of the ecu and add the manual parts to get rid of the check engine so you vtec will work, ive had this done but professionally
