Default del sol, my knee hits the steering wheel, wtf?

when i let off the clutch my knee hits the steering wheel. I have the stock seat and stock wheel, and i'm pretty sure the clutch is in the correct spot. i never had this problem with my EK. I'm about 5'8", has anyone else had this problem. I don't like to drive with the steering wheel all the way up.

Put your seat back a little bit so your legs are straighter...that way they won't hit the steering column.

You should be able to adjust yourself in such a way that's comfortable. I'm 6 feet tall and didn't have problems driving my buddy's sol, or my EK.

Its a del sol...the layout is very different from the 96+ civic - your sitting at quite a different angle.

Either stick your knee out toward the door, slide the seat back, raise the wheel, or get used to it. I realize those are the obvious answers, but I dont know what you want anyone to tell you....

Did this thread seriously need to be made? Adjust your seat... if that doesn't work, you bought the wrong car.

Did you seriously need to be made? I think your parents fucked up when having sex.

I found a happy medium for where to sit. The wheel is a little higher than what I have been driving at, but I will get used to it.
