I am going to purchase a b16a off my friend and try to swap it into my 93 civic dx only problem is he didnt get the wiring harnes when he bought it. can i use the stock wiring harness or do i have to buy a b16a wiring harness? its a 1995 b16a. help plz
you can use your stock harness i believe but you will have to wire up the vtec wires and stuff better off getting an EX wire harness good luck
they sell a kit. its like 30 bux. you use your factory harness and add vtec.
Now if the b16 is obd2 your going to have to either use your dx injectors so that it clips in or wire OBD2 injector clips. Also if the b16 is OBD2 the alternator plug is different so you also have to wire that. It shouldnt take longer than 1 hour if you know what your doing.
