Does anyone know what year model Qualude this tranny is from?

I hear that this is a good swap onto a F22, and am wondering if it's an exact replacement; i.e. mounts, bolt holes, axles, everything lines up perfectly with no modifications?

 

The M2B4 is the JDM LSD trans. It will fit the H22, F22a, F20a, and lastly the F20B.

Direct bolt-in for those engines. It came out of the 92-96 Prelude for EDM and JDM. It was also used for the Accord Type R, and SiR.

Hope this helps........just a side note use the Honda Factory MTF from the dealer only!!! I broke 2 M2B4 trannys before being told that.

I just picked up an M2S4 and putting it on an F23 if this helps. I'll be using the Prelude axles too.

 

actually its only found on the JDM 4th gen prelude. its a 5-speed, Limited-Slip Differential, meaning both wheels get power. for future reference,

m2b4 - JDM h22 tranny LSD
t2t4 - JDM SiR-T tranny LSD (F20b)
t2w4 - JDM Euro R tranny LSD
u2q7 - EDM Type R tranny LSD
no idea what the 5th Gen Accord SiR tranny code is tho...
