Reverse is a straight cut gear which causes that noise. Don't worry, it's normal.

no offense, but this is your first manual transmission car isn't it?
if the whining noise is what you are talking about, it is perfectly normal. all manual cars does that noise in reverse, at least the ones i have had.

the cracking noise can be from the clutch, but if the car is still performing fine i wouldn't worry about it.

I dont know really what creaking your talking about, but i do hear what sounds like the exhaust piping shaking and rattling.

sounds like its coming from your slave cylinder whenever you stepped on the clutch. grease the ball joint to the tranny and the problem should go away
