Default lowering question...

what would be better to go with;

Koni yellows on the upper collar with H&R race springs?

(or)

Koni yellows on the lower collar with H&R sport springs?

I don't want my car to be super low (i.e. lower collar with race springs) but I'm just curious about what the difference would be in terms of the shocks travel. As well, does anyone know how much the H&R sports / race springs lower your car?

i'd recommend you set the koni yellows on the highest perch and measure from the ground to the jack point (lip). it shouldn't be less than 5.5". that is the magic number that a lot of road racers use...

thanks, thats a good idea.
no ideas tho if its better to have more travel on your shock (upper perch/shorter spring) than less travel (lower perch / taller spring)/
anyone?

i'd think the less the shock had to work the better. i could be way off base here though.
