i hadnt seen a RR edition of the mugen civic, it says that it has 240hp 15hp more then the type R and also weights less then the type R but the price tag is a lil to high for me.

think about it.... sporty coupes aren't that lucrative these days.. what is there in direct competition with the coupe si? Maybe the eclipse? (bloated).. Now think of all the competition with sporty sedans (think evo, wrx, ms3) and tell me Honda hasn't lost out on some buyers. They are looking to get the evo/wrx/ms3 buyers in a sporty sedan made by honda. makes perfect sense to me.
look at how many guys just on 06+ that have had evos etc. Honda has been missing out. Thus the Mugen Si (even though no power increase). It is another test of the american sporty sedan market. If things keep going well sales wise, we will get the type r sedan in the next few model years. I can almost guarantee it

Perhaps if you used the search feature, you might have turned over a clue. Did you only scan the 1st couple of pages and didn't see anything so you decided to post?

HONDA M3!?!?! i'd be nice to get a R in the states but then again it's nice to have rarity. really want one go to japan and get her delivered!! although we all dont' live in cali, haha

What I really want to out about is that dual exhaust setup. Even though we only have one header, anyone know why Mugen would split up the exhaust? This is similar to the S2k with 240hp but I don't own one. Info anyone?

Its not a true dual.. probably just splits at the rear like my old TSX.
