Since you asked my advice, here it is. Ditch the turbo, and buy a Mustang for MO POWAAAHHH. you're gonna fvck up if you take the "cheap route"

Let me chim in on this since i'm a turbo junkie.

I can understand where building a "budget" (I would never consider or buy cheap quality parts) turbo kit plays well, if you're doing it to a civic or a hatch.

Let me care to say, NOTHING on a s2000 comes cheap, even less a turbo.

Okay, elaborate on eclips turbo? Is it a stock eclipse turbo? Or a modded turbo kit?

Even so, the piping won't fit. The manifold won't fit. The stock t3 would be on the small side(and internally gated). The downpipe won't fit.

And worst of all, you still need injectors, EMS, tires, clutch, intercooler, bov,

Extra helpfuls

fuel pump
FPR
gauges
exhaust
test pipe
differential

Stock turbo for a 1g dsm is a 14b, stock turbo for a 2g dsm is a t25. Both of those turbo would be terrible on a high revving engine.

S2000 with turbo = not for you.

a good setup is going to run you 10 - 12k

10-12k? Hmmm, I guess so. If you pay for a shop to do all of the work.

10-12k is realistic if you add up everything needed actually

factor in turbo kit
clutch
exhaust
tuning and install
appropriate turbo parts
possibly a nissan rear diff...

i priced out a turbo for myself with every possible money related part to go with it.

and it was about 12k

14b is the stock 1g turbo, and t25 is the stock 2g turbo. None of the turbo dsm's came with an 18g.

I agree, you dont want to go cheap on an expensive car, unless you really know what you are doing.
