Default C.F. Hood

I am just looking for a little toy to look at for Michelle (my car). I looked up a couple things! Carbon fiber hood came to my mind! You guys ever know any Name Brand Hoods for our FG/FA's? Or a decent website that they sell them at? I found nothing on corsport. only thing i found was an Ebay vendor....

Here you go

link to Procivic.com

I've been looking at them too, but they're kinda pricy. With that amount of money you can get a very good bolt on if you haven't gotten all of them already.

Im not sure if i like the hood scoops on them. yeah ... they are pretty expensive new! i will most defently contact civicfg1!

OH i also have a question about the pins that you will need to keep the hood on!i am new to the Carbon Fiber look. Would you have to drill holes or do most aftermarket hoods have premade holes for the pins???

x2...i think i've only seen one fg/fg2 with hood pins and i thought it looked horrible. on 8th there are many posts of cars without hood pins and all of them look great.

or you can just look at complex's...his looks awesome

i agree! Even several websites say that you should have pins on any carbon fiber hood. Drilling a hole dosent sound hard at all. better safe than sorry

Carbon Fiber Wings are

A) Retarded looking
B) Does nothing

but you would have to drill a hole in the OEM hood. for pins

I got a siebon CF hood on my fg, I was really nervous on the shipping since it was dropped shipped from siebon overnight, but let me tell ya that thing was well packed. It fit perfect, and latches tight so there is no need for hood pins!

You do on a CF hood Ping.

Lighter hood + non OEM latch = sketch

Those hoods will fly up and smash your windshield without pins, it's better to be safe than sorry.

I've seen in person two hoods do it
