interior lights not working.....gauge cluster/ac controls
ok my car got broken into again surprise lol....and this time they did something to where my ac controls work but the lights inside dont work nor does my guage cluster lights work when i turn on my headlights....i dont think its a fuse or i dont know what fuse to look for....cause my gas, speedo, and tach all work....all my turn signals and other misc lighting work just not the ones i need to see how fast or what rpm i am at when i drive at night.....is my gauges and ac controls screwed or can i fix this? thanks
yea that is why i dont think its a fuse....cause if the fuse was blown my gauges woudlnt function when it came to reading the speed and stuff....

you seem extremely enthused about the fact that it is the fuses. who knew?

and that caused both the gauge lights and ac lights not to work? but not effect the turn signal lights and the rest? thanks

hmm did you figure it out?was it jsut the fuse? cause it just happened to me last night. the speedo an tach work, they just dont light up, but the seat belt light an what not still lights up, i htink my AC still lights up? not sure...and im pretty sure my tails do too...
If your car was broken into, and they stole the "stock" stereo, your interior/roof light will no longer come on when the doors are open.(96-00 civics) But will work manually. If the stock stereo was spliced and an aftermarket unit was installed the lights should still work when the door is open......
it was a fuse altho some of my ac buttons lights still dont work.....i dont know what the problem is with that but my gauges are working again and the controls for the ac are but not the buttons the green light when pressed with show but not the illuminated back
i have this problem too. it started occurring after my HID install, but i don't believe that's the cause. allfuses are good like yours.
i still haven't fixed mine, but i just bought a replacement dimmer switch as it is a common failure that will result in guage cluster lights, and so forth.
my headlights, signals, and tails work fine. my heater light works, but all the other interior instrument lights are out.
HTH
i'll update when my dimmer arrives.

mine was the fuse altho still some of the controls arent working the gauge cluster does work again and the ac ***** do but NOT the AC buttons on the bottom 2 of the lights are blown i guess i dont know....but they dont come on anyone know how to fix this problem?
i bought the car and the cluster never workd. he converted a vx interior to si including cluster. i cant see me to figure it out. its not the fuse. its suppose to be fuse 19. but fuse isnt blown.i cant figure out the wires under the dash cuz the alarm is there too. what else do you think can be the problem. everything works except the dash lights. so i cant see how fast or what rmp i am at night.

if you've replaced fuses and some are still not working, it's probably the dimmer switch like i posted previously.
my dimmer switch is on its way and i'm almost positive that's the problem. i had that problem in my old 93 accord. either way, i'll still update when i get the new dimmer switch installed.

swithced out the dimmer switch today. now my gauge cluster lights work as well as my temperature selector backlight.
i noticed that as i was wiggling the connector out, the gauge lights began flickering. well, now everything works so i can forget about the nuisance.

Happened to me yesterday when I switched to an EX cluster. Time to look for the fuse. Is it an underhood fuse, or interior fuse?
well i was trying to fix the sidemarkers. and im sue i got a short wen i touched the wrond cables. after my brother helped me out. we changed one fuse that was burned and hooked up the sidemarkers the rite way. but everything works except the rpm and mph and my directionals.
