yea that is why i dont think its a fuse....cause if the fuse was blown my gauges woudlnt function when it came to reading the speed and stuff....

you seem extremely enthused about the fact that it is the fuses. who knew?

and that caused both the gauge lights and ac lights not to work? but not effect the turn signal lights and the rest? thanks

If your car was broken into, and they stole the "stock" stereo, your interior/roof light will no longer come on when the doors are open.(96-00 civics) But will work manually. If the stock stereo was spliced and an aftermarket unit was installed the lights should still work when the door is open......

i have this problem too. it started occurring after my HID install, but i don't believe that's the cause. allfuses are good like yours.

i still haven't fixed mine, but i just bought a replacement dimmer switch as it is a common failure that will result in guage cluster lights, and so forth.

my headlights, signals, and tails work fine. my heater light works, but all the other interior instrument lights are out.
HTH

i'll update when my dimmer arrives.

i bought the car and the cluster never workd. he converted a vx interior to si including cluster. i cant see me to figure it out. its not the fuse. its suppose to be fuse 19. but fuse isnt blown.i cant figure out the wires under the dash cuz the alarm is there too. what else do you think can be the problem. everything works except the dash lights. so i cant see how fast or what rmp i am at night.

if you've replaced fuses and some are still not working, it's probably the dimmer switch like i posted previously.

my dimmer switch is on its way and i'm almost positive that's the problem. i had that problem in my old 93 accord. either way, i'll still update when i get the new dimmer switch installed.

swithced out the dimmer switch today. now my gauge cluster lights work as well as my temperature selector backlight.

i noticed that as i was wiggling the connector out, the gauge lights began flickering. well, now everything works so i can forget about the nuisance.

Happened to me yesterday when I switched to an EX cluster. Time to look for the fuse. Is it an underhood fuse, or interior fuse?

Bump. It's not the fuse. So those who went after the dimmer switch, was that the culprit???

instead of bumping a thread from a month ago why not start a new thread and clearly state your issue?

If your hazard light plug is not fully plugged in, your interior lights will not come on
