Stock, no.

Custom, anything is possible.

Onto a H22, most likely no. Maybe if you did a complete custom K-Series or F20C (S2000) Swap, then you could have a 6-Speed.

That's what I just read in a thread asking a similar question either today or yesterday...

But I wasn't implying RSX Tranny + H22 Engine or S2000 Tranny + H22 Engine..

lol this forum never ceases to amaze me.

I think if the question was posed thus: "So would an F20C fit, if bolted upto a TSX gearbox, using custom mounts? If so has anyone done this conversion?"

no there are no 6 speed trannys that will bolt up correctly to the H22a4 straight "out of the box"

and why would u want a 6speed lude? it takes forever to get to 5th with the peddle to the metal from 4th. to save a couple extra mpg?

you realize how short the gears would be anyway if we had a 6speed? i mean the new si is insanely short the lude wouldn't be much better unless it was a inline 6 which we already covered that topic before

you're dumb dude, they wouldn't just tack another gear onto the 5spd setup, the point of a 6spd is being able to make the gears very close together and still maintain mpg.

who floors it in 4th in a street car anyways?

me when I'm street tuning =P but that aside it's really not that hard to get 5th gear, tuning helps a lot but then again like all DOHC VTEC motors factory tuning isn't the best thing in the world for preformance.

when I first started reading and researching prelude trannys I was the same way... OMGZOR need a 6 speed but really a nice euro R tranny or JDM LSD with just a shorter final gear would work wonders no real need for a 6 speed unless your moving the power band of the car up higher and need the shorter gears to stay in VTEC/powerband it would be nice to cruise at 2K on the freeway and such but for city street driving the 5 speed is perfectly fine.

This same question has been asked what seems to be about every week for the past few months. It would be nice if new users were required to read the FAQs and Rules before allowing membership. Maybe read the rules and FAQs and then have to take a quiz on it. To the OP, surprisingly the cbr1000RR tranny bolts right up to the H22a4, its constant-mesh 6-speed you should check it out, everyone's doing it.
