i have a 1995 honda prelude si w/jdm h22a on an h23 tranny i will be changing my starter tomorrow, what do i need to know to do this? thanks
I dunno if you've ever taken that starter off before, but I know when I changed mine from my H23A1 when it burnt up it was stuck on there from 130,000 miles.. A Breaker Bar helps a lot.. I'd recommend one.
Otherwise, it's not hard, I didn't need the Helms or anything, just remove, and replace the same way.. No biggy.

Yep just undo the Positive and negative wires and undo the (2) 14mm bolts and your done! Just make sure you undo the battery before starting this project...

negative wire?
the starter gets its ground from contact with the transmission casing, which is grounded well already.
the wire you're talking about is the solenoid wire i think...
anyways, thats enough nitpicky crap, this changeover is very straightforward as they have said.
