Ok guys my h22 went out on me due to a timing belt problem. For some reason why when i took the head off it was fine. Now the issue is before i took the head off there was a knocking noise. So what i'm goin to do is set this motor aside and build it up to go into a 92 to 95 civic. The question is i know the f20b motor is obd2 and i converted my car to obd1. Can i take the stock accord harness and plug this motor right up? Or can i take the harness i have now and plug it up that i modified to work with the h22? I see no one has pics of no one doing this swap on here from what i have seen.

 

you didnt say what year your car was...

 

if it is a jdm engine, which i dont have all these damn engine codes programed in my head, it wont just plug up

i'm pretty sure 96-up is obd2, so from what i gather here and there your wiring issue shouldn't be that much of an issue.
