Megan header
First of all thank god search is working again, and yes I already searched this. I was wondering if a megan header will do anything HP wise or if I should buck up and spend some money. I want a quiet good sounding exhaust, and it seems like a lot of people use megan headers. How do they sound? I was thinking of pairing it with a WS2 muffler. Let me know what you guys think.

As long as you're pairing it with a WS2, you'll be pleased with the sound, whatever header you apply. My bud had a WS2 on his GSR with a cheapo ebay header, and it sounded great. I would say, compare headers, not so much for power output or sound, but for quality of materials and lifespans. Some say DC headers crack on them, you should check to see if there are any common problems with your megan header.
Also, one main thing to keep an eye out for will be the size of the collector on the header, the part where all the pipes join into one. You'll want that to probably match the size of your exhaust, or be of a good performance size.

I wanted to go header, flow through cat, and ws2 muffler. What is the difference between piping say between stock from cat to muffler rather than ws2 catback? Or I could have the muffler shop bend me custom tubing. any thoughts?
A real WS2 (or any full cat-back) is mandrel bent, and not crush-bent. With a real aftermarket exhaust you'll get the same diameter piping through the entire exhaust. A crush-bent exhaust is only as effective as its narrowest crush-bent curve.
A mandrel bent exhaust achieves what you would be buying an exhaust for; better flow. Go with a header, high flow cat (If you have smog problems to deal with like we do in CA), and full WS2 exhaust.

what kind of flow through cat? so 421 headers don't hang as low, and I would have to get 2.5 flange and gasket what does that mean?
anyone have some reccomendations on a 421 stainless header? doesn't look like megan makes one

Ive never even heard of that
In your case w/ the B16 (or any dual cam for that matter), you have plenty of options for a good quality header...it just depends on how much money you want to spend.
