Yeah, they can be. But for the price of a NEO and a reflash you can almost have a KPro.

I suppose if you already have a reflash you can somewhat fine-tune that with a Neo, but you also can use the reflashed ECU as an upgrade point to the KPro.

NEO is a waste of money. and reflash may/may not be dangerous for your 05. (its a controversial subject). i'd save for K-Pro

how is the neo a waste of money?? and how is the reflash dangerous to the 05-06 type-s???................i would like to save up for k-pro but in a recent review of import tuner they install k-pro on an 06 type-s an it doesnt gain much as i thought it would.....

how much you gain depends on the mods you have, and lets face it, you won't be seeing like an increase of 100whp or something. neo is a waste cuz its only a a/f controller, and supposedly the reflash for the 05-06 makes the car run dangerously lean.

i live in socal too so i know what you mean. if you're on a budget, look into the DCRH, it is a good bang for the buck. but if you have some cash, go for the BCRH, and if you have more money and still want to stay legal, you can get Hytech to make you a custom RH with a hi flow cat at the end. you can still tune K-pro as you get mods, its one of those things you'll never regret getting.

Comptech is back in business...And yeah if going with a Short header then go with Comptech...that is what I have for my EP...

On the other hand, I though hi-flow cats are illegal in Kali even if they are carb legal?
