Does anybody know the weights of K series flywheels?
i think the strock k20a2 is like 18lbs and i know for a fact that the type-R is only 10.25lbs i own a type R flywheel but i havent had it installed yet waiting till i get an LSD but personally i would go with a type R i got a good deal on mine i only paid like 110 shiped for mine
the k20a2 and the k20z1 are 15.6 pounds....

i have a k20a R swap. i was planning on upgrading the clutch, and decided to do the flywheel at the same time. but if it really weighs in at 10 lbs..... there is definitely no need.

well yeah.
i was mostly concerned about the weight. but yes, when the trans comes off, of course the flywheel would get a resurface. that is, if it really weighs in at 10.25 lbs.

saves me some loot on an ACT. now i just need to replace the clutch and get moving.
