I thought so, when my B16A just had JDM 4-1, Tanabe RM, ITR intake manifold, Stock Airbox modified with K&N filter, and the Ventulli plate it made 148hp to wheels, and Torque was like 110, so i thought it was decent numbers for a basically stock internal B16A.

this kinda works like the new acura rdx turbo setup, a valve closes at low rpms to keep boost due to the low psi being allowed through a smaller opening creates more velocity, pretty ingenious (sp?)
