Volk TE37 wheels....Magnesium or Aluminum or both??
I'm in the process of selling one of my sets of volks and a potential buyer questions whether my wheels are magnesium or aluminum. I always thought Rays Engineering only made them in magnesium but my wheels weigh more than my friends' wheels. With the same wheel spec; 15x7, 4x100 and a +43 offset my wheels weigh 10.3 lbs. each and his 7.6 lbs. each. Could it be that I have the aluminum set and he has the magnesium set?
TIA

Definitely strength, but more importantly weight. Much less rotational mass.
