Has anyone ever had an issue in which a sound similar to a very short belt squeak comes from the engine bay ( near electrical components ) while powering off the car 96' H23.

The sound happens after the engine completely stops and I fully turn the key and remove it from the ignition. You do not even have to crank the engine and it still makes the sound.

Any advice??

 

Never heard of it. Try getting a friend to turn the key so you can narrow the search down a bit.
