Well, my STi is officially up for sale.
I'm in NE/Central Ohio
Here's the deal,
2005 STi
47,400 Miles
New Brake pads
New Rally Armor Mudflaps
New Black Carpet
Cobb Catback
The Bad
I hit a deer last year, and had the car repaired to good-as-new.
My wife and I drove through some high water, and the carpet got soaked because (D'OH) my wife tried to open her door for some reason. Insurance replaced it, and hence the reason why I have Black carpet. Neither of these totalled the car, or put any negatives on the title. The carfax and title are both clean and clear!
If someone from out of state is truly interested in buying the car, I can video the car for them. Not a problem!
The throw-out bearing on the clutch makes noise. There is no slippage, or play in the clutch. Period. This was to be replaced under warranty, but I had a really crappy warranty department at my dealership, and that fell through. I have a new clutch and bearing in the box, ready to go with the car. The bearing has been making an annoying sound for 10,000 miles, and it hasn't gotten any worse.

Ok... That is the EXACT point where the deer impacted. I have no pictures of the car while damaged, but as you can plainly see, there is NO residual damage. (This is a disclaimer due to previous threads
Once again, every time I have to get up and explain myself, I lose another potential buyer. I don't want tire-kickers, I want people that are serious. I have explained myself to many, many people via PM. If anyone has any further issues they would like to discuss about the car, take it to PM please. I have told you all every last thing about the vehicle. I will not lower the value of the car due to any of the incidents, as I have already adjusted it... the deer strike will not make me change the car's price.
Everyone seems to be concerned with the ECU... I keep getting 5 PMs a day about it, and when I tell them the honest truth, they call me a liar. I seem to think that these people are merely trying to lowball me and rip me off. It's rude! If I was going to lie, I wouldn't mention the water at all! There is nothing on the title, and the CarFax is SPOTLESS! If I wanted to lie, I'd just tell you all that I changed the carpet for looks. I am an honest man!
THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ECU. The ECU was not replaced. That can be proven by showing you the original keys with the original code still in them. The wiring is perfect. You can tell that by bending them and seeing that they aren't brittle. There was not mud, dirt, silt, sand, or any other particulate in the vehicle. The car is GREAT except for this issue that happened to it 15,000 miles ago.
I have all of the stock parts, including the exhaust and blue carpet. The black just looks much nicer with the black stitched floormats.
Car runs very strong.... VERY strong.
PM me on here, and i'll give you my phone number, and a place we can meet. Thanks guys!

By the way, I'm selling because of recent medical problems.

CLEAN TITLE, CLEAN CARFAX!
22,000 obo!!!
Shoot me a price, all offers welcome! Send me PMs to ask questions. No trades though, unless you want to trade me a little old Honda or Acura plus 19,500 cash.
I need to sell it this cheap because #1, nobody wants to even come look at it, and #2, several of my family members are very very ill, and I need to pay to help them. There have been no serious problems, and I don't expect there to be. For 22,000 obo, I'm sure whoever buys it will be able to afford to fix the minor problems.
There is a lien on the car, so it will take a week to complete the purchase... no worries though, as it's through a major bank, so it's trustworthy.

hey, i remember your name, Vash. Sorry about the medical problems. I hope everything works out for you.
SOMEONE BUY THIS CAR and help the man out, he's stepping up and selling his car just to help his family, you have to respect that.
I hope you sell it, bro.
