adjusting coilovers
My car has skunk2 coilovers but I do not have the tools that came with it to raise or lower the ride height. How do I raise/lower my height without the tools. Wheels are off right now

this happened to me once. you can take a hammer and a screwdriver and tap the perches counter clockwise. just enough to free them up to where you can adjust them by hand. when you have set height to the same to tighten.

Or you can get the proper tools, just as a suggestion. What you would need is a pair of coilover spanner wrenches, but if you're not in the mood to get them, then by all means, I'm sure the post above ^^ will work just fine.
I am guessing this is what I need

Sounds right to me. I'd get the proper tools for future adjustments, but if you want to try your hand at adjusting them now, I doubt it'd hurt anything. Just make sure you get a nice sturdy squeeze between the two adjustment plates when you set the height.
I have Ground Control Coil overs I just use my hand since i somehow misplaced my tool to do it.. It might take a little skin off at first to get them loose but its just as easy for me..
Is it possible to adjust the coilovers without taking off the wheels? I think I could get into the front, but the back looked a bit trickey...anyone did this? I was just hoping to raise the car with jacks and loosen as the first person suggested with a screwdriver and hammer. please let me know!

If you have the arms of a 9 year old girl, you might be able to wiggle your way in there with the wheel on. Or if you have 13" wheels and low-profile tires. Otherwise you're going to have to pull the wheel off. But it's not like pulling the wheel off is a PITA compared to chocking the other wheels before jacking it up plus, of course, jacking it up.
The Skunk2 spanner wrench is only $6, so for $12 + shipping you get the right tools for the job and not risk cracking the collar. Someone got a little careless with my spanner wrenches last week so one is currently working it's way to me... luckily my old Tein wrenches will work for the install this weekend...
