Hi im here to ask a question. i just purchased a b16a tranny and was told buy the person whom i bought it from that a crx tranny will directly bolt on to the b16 is that true? does it have to be jdm? or can it be usdm? right now i founda a honda first gen crx tranny and the Tranny has the wide ratios of the HF 5 speed with the final drive of the SI. will it bolt on? it comes off a 1987 crx. help plz

no. only b series trannies bolt onto b series blocks.

 

thanks i figured it was bull and now i have proof thanks so much. :-)
