For those of you with the GReddy Evo2 catback(pics inside)
Decided to have the resonator removed and had a straight through pipe welded in its place. It sure was a damn good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds amazing now!!!

This is how big boys tune their cars properly, especially after lowering and installing a camber kit.

well, until i get a sound clip, i will describe it. its very basey and deep. not at all raspy not even in the slightest. when letting go from high rev there is little throaty sound apparent. again not raspy. stay tuned for the sound clip and you will se for yourself. very loud at high rpms. sounds good but may get you a ticket.
I also have no resonators but I am on the stock muffler. I've always thought of what it'd sound like with the HFP muffler or Type-s muffler. I am guessing the Greddy muffler might give me an idea, not exactly close but it's the same concept (no resonator). I love it with no resonator an stock muffler though.
yeah thats where i got the idea, from a guy who did the same thing as you, he had a stock muffler and removed the resonator. not as loud or as deep or even as good sounding as mine, however, it does sound good! and plenty loud.

a little less restriction but you potentially could be making the exhaust too loud and raspy sounding.
he claims it's not but it's almost expected when you run an exhuast without a resonator.
