Default Ground Control?

Anyone using ground controls on their ITR with stock shocks. If so how do they ride and is a camber kit really necessary. Thanks for the help. I'm planning on running ground controls on my 01 R but not lowering more than 1 3/4. Just want to know how stock shocks will hold up...

they will bounce around! and if you only want to make a 1''3/4 dropp why dont you just buy some springs? H&R / Eibach?
but I would save my money so I could buy shocks and springs/coilovers at the same time so the R dosnt ride like ***>"if your gonna do it do it right"

Yup, just ITRacer121 said. Are you planning to take it to shows and bring it up & down? If you are going with a set height, just go for springs. For me I have GC's with Tokico Illuminas which are adj. shocks and I every now and then I switch from my stocks to 17's so I play with the height adjs. once in awhile. Other than that.....don't waiste your money. Don't get me wrong, if you do it right there very good for the money, very nice ride for the street and pritty good for the track with the right shocks that is.

im running the same setup as azn98R and i dont really like the ride quality of the GC's but i think the illuminas really help, so my advice is to get some aftermarket shocks to go with it.
