help. huge scuff mark on my car.
so being the genius that i am, i was backing out of my breaking spot into another spot and i was looking back making sure my BACK doesn't hit the wall but i didn't notice that my FRONT was scraping against the wall. so now i have an EXTREMELY large WHITE scuff on my DARK GREEN integra. can anyone suggest anything to fix it? it's pretty bad so i know i can't completely get rid of it, just something to do so it won't look AS bad? thanks.
oh and here's the picture. i cry just looking at it.

Sand it, maybe some bondo if there are deep gouges. A little primer, then some dupli-color spray, then some clear coat. Watch out for overspray and drips, you don't want to make it worse.
Yeah, that's all the way into the bumper plastic, that won't buff out unfortunately. Your best bet is to sand it smooth, and use some touch-up paint. There's a couple different brands of spraypaint that come very close to your green [my buddy painted his ITR wing that same green to match his '95 SE, used a can]. I can't recall what brand he used, but it's out there.

Touch up paint isnt going to hide the scrapes but touch up paint from honda should do the trick for you. If you want to make it look like it never happened take 250 grit sandpaper and sand down the scrapes until it is smooth again. gradually keep sanding with higher grit sandpape until you get to 1000 grit sand paper and it is smooth and no scratches are visible. Tape of a 5" area around the entire damaged spot wip down the area with low odor minearal spirits and a tack cloth. Take your touch up paint and apply light even coats on the area it should take about 5 coats for the true color to appear. Apply a few more paint coats after desired color is achieved and let it sit overnight untouched. After that you should be good after about of month get it buffed to look shiny and glossy but wait a month or buffing it will cause a warped look in the paint you just applied. It needs time to properly dry and harden.
