Default Playing DVD's on the Navigation Screen

Just wondering if there is a patch or something that will allow you to play DVD movies on the navi screen. Have a '06 TSX. Any information will be helpful.

Sure they exist. However, $2-300 is an awful lot of money to spend to be able to watch video in your car while you're in your driveway or stopped.

well if your going to used it for video while driving I have a nice one that will not let you do it. Whatching video is really dangerious and should not be done. you put your life and other people life on the line when you do.

It's also something that's not discussed on Honda-Tech.

Reported for lock because of the direction this thread is heading.

most sites you can not talk about it or show how. It promotes illegal activities. We can show you whats is out there for sale but not tell you how to wire it up.

That's not even a valid comparison... Speeding is not distracted driving.

And WRX is right. The reason it won't be discussed is because it's an illegal activity, and therefore, is against the TOS of this site.

Sorry got a lil off track. I am only interested in products. I tailgate and go to alot of concerts and was wondering if there are any products that use the cars screen to show video. I really do not want to have to get a third party screen to view a video while at one of these functions. Also wondering if the navigation dvd reader can alos be used to play regular dvd's. I don't think it does but it doesn't hurt to ask. The reason i asked if it could switch back and forth is based on the fact that i did not want to have to unplug and replug stuff in. I dont mind changing a disk but I just can't stand extra wires around electronics and would want something that can be stored away discreatly. Your guys' help is appreciated.

The units that I have allows you to bridge inline of the navigation unit. It plugs in between. Then you add any video source that you like. A playstaion or dvd player. When the aux unit comes on it bypasses the navigation unit. Real simple.
