Check it out, it may be worth it.
No alarm?

Sedans usually aren't stolen because chances are they are basically stock.
Someone obviously knew you had a typie under there. For future, never rip on your car close to home. You are just asking for your car to get stolen. If you can't afford an alarm, install a kill switch. And if you can afford an alarm, install a kill switch anyways.
Just my 2 cents.

I have an alarm, a kill switch, and i have a club. If they want it they will get it.

My car was no more than 15 feet from where I was sleeping. If they started it they didn't do it where it was parked.

Daaaaammmmnnn, thieves are ******* shady. They probably yanked your hood, disconnected your battery then rolled it until they could start it.

I'm sure a simple tow truck, would suffice....

This is a common misconception, and a dangerous one to have if you want to keep your Civic sedan.
Just recently there was a 6th gen sedan that was stolen and mentioned in the 6th gen sedan thread. People kept saying they didn't think anyone would steal their car, because it was a sedan. So they didn't bother to get an alarm or anything because only coupes and hatches need those.
Sedans do get stolen. If your car is clean, there's more chance that you have an engine swap or at least some JDM goodies somewhere that could be taken.
His car was clean, had Rotas, had Wilwood brakes, drilled and slotted rotors and Buddyclub seats. He has enough showing for someone to steal. An engine might just be a nice surprise.

Except that not everyone has or has access to a tow truck. Rolling it out is just a cheap way of doing it.

Your car was the sedan I was referring to.
I wonder what percentage of H-T members have had cars stolen, and out of those people, what cars were most often stolen. It'd also be interesting to know if said cars were stock, lightly modified or highly modified and what percentage of stolen cars had security.
