I was just curious ..... somedays I wish I kept it stock ....... but what fun is having a car that you can't customize.

Nope. Everything I do to my car makes it better.

Wish I would have enjoyed it stock. I modified the car way too soon.

Keep it stock, and learn to drive the **** out of it on track. Then, when you are ready, mod if you wish, safety first. The cars are a blast to drive and perform remarkably in stock trim. What good is modding if you can't benefit from it? Just my opinion...

def. need to learn how to drive it first....then notice every mod you do and how much it helped you out

I don't really into mod anymore since I my first car got stolen...
cause I think thieves will slightly look more into the mod. cars first rather than the stock ones. But when I see spoon/mugen goodies on ITR oh man...droooling I am always. but I'm not sure it just my opinion...

I'll vote once I finish tuning as long as I get some nice #'s and my timing belt doesn't snap, I love modded cars

I wish I never spent money modding the R. Would have been better to invest it in a 401K.

I'm in the same boat with you, bought the car modded. The guy installed Neuspeed Race springs with stock shocks, some crappy short shifter, AEM CAI, and DC 4-2-1 USDM header, ceramic. Some mods are okay, but he obviously was a dumbass when it came to modding an R...

I didn't like what I did to my car. My DC Sports JDM and 2.5" Carsound cracked and now it sounds a little buzzy which I hate. I wish the exhaust system was still stock, as my current one sucks. HyTech will soon remedy my situation however. Then I'm sure I'll feel good about leaving the stock stuff behind.

I bought my Type R just so I CAN tune it and because of the wide availability of good quality performance parts.

I like what i did with my car but it just sucks cuz now it's more likely to get stolen if i do go somewere with it and not watch it every single minute.

But if i could go back i wouldn't have done some things i've done.

Overall i don't regret modding it

I like my modded R much more than I did without the mods. My mod days are coming to an end though. I think I have nearly done everything I want to. I'll probably change my mind later though.
