Default Im turboing my H22, and I have some ?'s!!! Please help

For one thing my ECU is all screwed up, so I was thinking of A'PEXI Power FC, does anyone know anything about that? Ok, and my Transmission is messing up also, does anyone have ideas for what I should go with? And im new to the "turbo scene" so I want to make sure I run every thing right, so tips help thanks

You can probably answer a lot of your initial question by using the search button or surfing around the forced induction forum. What year is your prelude? How many miles are on it? How much power are you shooting for? I have no experience with the A'Pexi system you mentioned. When you go turbo, tunning is very important. I have a built H23 turbo prelude that is tuned with a hondata s200b on a p75. Go check out hondata's webpage to learn more about their systems. As far as your tranny "messing up" we need more details. You can repair your current tranny or get a new one. You should also think about getting an LSD especially if you are planning to make some serious power. Give us more details and also search around the FI forum like I said before.

piggyback fuel solutions + serious turbo builds = boom

read the FAQs in the boost section will help you a lot, please don't put a turbo on your car before you know what your doing there are a lot of little things that can and will go wrong that if you don't know what to look for and how to fix will turn into huge engine destroying problems quite fast.

Its a 1995, and it has 125k. yea I was looking at hondata, and then I was told that Power FC was pretty good though. Im wanting to get in the mid 400s. The transmission problem is, when I rev at high RPMs and try to shift in 4, and 5th it grinds. And yea I have been looking for LSD, and I dont really know what brand is good, or not. Thanks for your help, ill keep researching.

1) Get your car back to proper working condition before even attempting to boost it.

no kidding trevor.

Nobody has good experience with the power FC around me, and as far as I have seen there are very few shops in the entire US that tune that thing, it is very expensive and supposedly not that great. It is jdm though, its a shame that you won't be able to use it.

I recommend having the welds on your intake manifold checked before you hit too much boost. Also watch out for flying floorpans. Welcome to honda-tech.

So let me get this right, the Hondata s200 on p72 would be a good ECU for when I boost, if so, is any one selling one, ill take it off your hands??? Im serious about doing this, I just need some help to start me off I have a idea of what I need to get, I bought the turbo kit wich is Turbonetics, pistons, and rods, and billit fuel rail. I just dont know where to go from here.

I'll draw out a little path to success.

You get the point, and no I'm not trying to push my product, but yes a hondata setup would be great. LOL Shame though mine is not enabled for boost.

So for every one that has pm me, could you give me your E-mail, or something.

were not being asshats its just we need to know where your going with this...just giving us random things you bought isn't going to help much... take your time on this and do it right the first time. that is the first thing i learned here. research your stuff instead of just asking questions...thats how i learned how to do a turbo build by myself and i didn't go cheap...well maybe on my injectors but im ordering bigger ones anyway lol. this link might help
