reding around without side moldings on bad idea?

Default reding around without side moldings on bad idea?

just sold my bodykit, and i was wondering if it would be ok to ride around without side moldings, im worried about rain getting into the little holes for the clips.

any ideas?

I remeber when I had to side swipe a sign to avoid an accident.. I had to ride around with no side moldings on my rear door... I stuffed lil bits of rag in there for a few days when it was raining.. and then replaced the molding lol.. no water got in but then again it was only for a few days and a few hours or raining

even with the moldings on water still gets by,it's not waterproof which is why so many cars have hidden rust behind all that ****..

I personally welded all the holes shut and glued the moldings on when doing my bodywork,its better that way.

wow man putting rags in them would be worse

that would just hold the moisture even longer on the holes if they got wet. bad idea

duc tape!! hey maybe after i put the moldings in, some seam sealer would seal the water out good.

hey while I'm here, is it possible to weld in new rear jack points? mine are rusted to ****
