Carbon Kevlar Longboard
A couple people requested I make a thread for my longboard so here it is.
A friend of mine built me a custom longboard. The top layer is carbon fiber (covered with paint) and the bottom two layers are kevlar with foam sandwiched in between similar to a surfboard.
I got bored of the original color (nasty yellow) so I decided to rattle can a candy red that fades into a metallic black.

Then the honda bug struck me and I decided to go with a Spoon inspired paint job. Along with bronze painted trucks and wheels. Mad tyte JDM y0.

The rattle can paint looked nice but wasn't very durable so I decided to take it to some professionals and got it painted a nice deep red at a local body shop.
My friend Shea of Shea's Luxury Detailing came by, did a color buff and shined up my new paint.

It looks like you can see through the board but its just the reflection of the grass.

The weight of the board itself is only 2.5 lbs which is close to nothing for a board of this size.

There are huge fenders to house the custom 145mm wheels from Germany.

And the board curves down from those wheel arches so the rider has a lower center of gravity. (I like my longboards how I like my cars, low)

Carbon Kevlar Goodness. Yum

And last but not least, my favorite picture of my board that I took. Motion shots FTW.

Oh yeah, I need money for my conversion on my integra and am forced to sell my pride and joy

Abec 11 wheels in the last picture??
I like the idea, but I dont like the fenders. It reminds of Model Ts with those thin fenders.
I prefer a regular board that can take a beating. I'd be scared to scratch the paint or crack the CF/CK...
Cool nonetheless.

The last picture had Bones Reds. The setup that I'm selling is going to come with Lucky Ceramics.

Its alright. Just make sure your shoes are clean. However, if you notice in the last picture I had grip tape on the board. I took it off so my friend could do a good color buff and detail on the board. My previous designs also had grip tape but was painted.
