I just took a trip down the road from my house to the locat sheets convience store and there was a 2006 Habanero Red Si there(a rare occurance around here, especially at midnight), as I was walking out of the store and lighting a smoke I was greeted by a 50 y/o gentleman named Dennis, the owner of the other Si who I had a very pleasent 20 minute conversation with about our vehicles. In a world with people who complain and are never happy with their car it is nice to meet someone from a completly different facet of life that shares the same passion that I do of cars and the great thing we call the Honda Civic Si. Things like this just make me even happier with my choice to buy the car that I did. Just thought I would share that.

Haha, that reminds me. My old history teacher from back in HS went out and bought an 07 Civic Si in NHBP. I talked to him the other day and his exact words were:

"Someone I know bought one and I just knew I had to get one of these bad boys!"

i was like, yeah, WONDER WHO THAT WAS!?

 

Man I never see another SI around me! I did see a black sedan on vacation once but that is it.

i only see non si civics, but its always while driving. I have never seen an SI in a parking lot i was in.

The main reason people complain about the car is because its a forum. Questions and answers about what should be done if a problem occurs. I know what you mean though. for the first week or two after getting my car i was very nervous and skeptical about my decision to buy the car.

 

dude, i can go anywhere and get into hour conversations with the most random person ever. dont know why........ im just really good at making friends i guess. i love it even more when its about my car.

i hate small talk with random people. most of the time i have **** to do and dudes try to talk cars with me when i really could care less.

"oh imma get this this and that"......im thinking "so what".

with my previous cars I especially hated it when somebody in a "so-called" hooked up honda trys to mess with me on the road. when i give in and pull on him they stop right next to me at the stop light and tell me their future plans like it's an excuse for having a slow car at that moment. they always seem like they know what you have too. i dont know why but everyone i've encountered on the road asked me if my old DC2 was an LS....i'd just agree with them and keep on driving.
