Accidentally short circuited my alarm!!
Yesterday while taping up some wiring under my dash, I accidentally short circuited 2 wires of the alarm system. These 2 wires activated the mini piezo siren upon alarm trigger.
The alarm is an older model Clifford Concept 600. I saw sparks and heard a zap noise and knew it got short circuited. The alarm basically went dead at this point. So I check the alarm fuse under the hood, and it was still good. I have no idea what else to do now. Any ideas?

alarm fuse under the hood. Not a good install. Now is time to get the job done right. What wires touched?
Under the dash, there's a positive wire that goes to air horns and mini piezo siren to trigger these when the alarm goes off. Then there's a negative wire to these air horns and piezo siren. Apparently, they both touched.
I'm so bummed out because I know whenever your working with anything electrical related, you need to disconnect the battery. But the thing is I was originally working on some other car related stuff and needed to take the dash apart. I saw some alarm wires weren't taped up well. I just held it in my hands for one instant then bam it must have touched right at this instant.
Do you think my brain might have gotten friend?

could be, you would not have a diagram on what wired? Check to see if there a fuse next to the alarm brain. You need a new install anyways. Any pics?
My alarm was installed by a local shop. I actually have an appt with them at 10am to take a look at it.
I don't have any diagrams for the alarm. I see that there's tons of different relays for the alarm add on accessories under my dash. I'm hoping there's more alarm fuses in the wiring somewhere.
Is it normal for an alarm system to have more than 1 fuse (which is usually located under the hood)?

All of my installes have no more then what required. None of my installs will ever got to the car main battery, never. One fuse for the parking lights, one for the alarm brain. One for the back-up battery. One on the siren lead- to prevent dum butts low life theives that well you know. And one for each relay that is used to open something. BUt you will never see anything from a install from me.
