JDM navi systems run off CD's not DVDs. There are no conversion harness, there are no write ups. You need a good electrical system awareness and the determination to figure it out yourself.

To this date I have not seen anyone with a working navigation. The only thing guys have got working is the radio, HVAC, and TV outputs.

also - radio really doesn't play US stations.

i'd return it or try to sell it - how much did you pay for it?

the hassle and time isn't worth the end result

There is a guy here on H-T who has it done properly, Everything and I mean every little thing is working properly. He has the navigation selection but no disk to make it speak english. Another problem is the format for the disk is unkown so noone can figure out if there is a cd with the US maps on it that would work and since this was a JDM option only the original disk only has japanese maps and speaks only in japanese. therefore nobody in the Us will prob ever have navigation working properly.
