clutch squeaking normal?
I've been having a weird problem only when I'm starting up in the car. Usually, when I step on the clutch, it squeaks until about 10-20 minutes of driving and then it stops. I think this happens under hotter temperatures. I've researched this and noticed that this is a fairly common problem. Does anyone have any opinion on what I should do to stop this squeaking? Thanks
Mine squeaks too.. It squeaks around the slave cylinder area. If the car is off, you can really hear it. As I wait in the walmart parkinglot for someone to come out, someone walks by, I push the pedal, it squeaks, they look around like "wtf?" and then I start to pump the pedal fast and they look around like crazy.. Jeez I get bored alot. Never bothered to see what it is since I really don't care... When the car is on, it's barely noticable. But it's not normal.
haha sageuvagony, i get looks when im stepping on the clutch too.
Anyways, since you guys aren't going out of your way to fix it and sageuvagony uses the squeakiness for entertainment, then the clutch squeaking isn't going to cause major damage because of metal to metal scraping right?

no, there is no scraping going on. you are fine, don't worry about it. it's quite common.

Apparently it is, since I too have that problem.
But it sucks, and the squeaky sounds are synonymous with shitty quality, so do you know how to remedy this?
And don't say "Get a better car." because as we all know, there wouldn't be any Honda-Tech, and we'd all be in debt from buying "better cars."

Amen to all that, especially the bolded part.
Yeah, mine squeaks sometimes too.
