I have an 01 itr and I was wondering if I were to get the DC JDM 4-1 and a Carsound Cat, would I be able to just bolt these on without any modification? And what about the size of the Cat outlet that the exhaust bolts to, would I still be able to bolt a Apexi N1 to it?

 

I also live in California, would I have any problems with smog(ie. visual, sniffer)?

Does anyone have any pics of a DC JDM 4-1?

Most likely you will fail the visual. If you can get past that then you will probably pass the test as long as the cat is fairly new. The coating on the Carsounds I've been told will wear out after a year or two.

 

You will fail the visual because of no CARB# on the header and is intended for Offroad use but I would not worry about it just get the rear cat flange moded and have fun with it and when the smog day comes put back to stock. I ******* hate the state ref they fucked me royal even with Carb certified parts
