hey all just wondering on wht the compression should b on a 88-89 teg motor 1.6 (dual cam ZC for a civic)

do i drive the **** out of it.....well.....to say the least i have this in my stock car which is a 1990 honda civic ef and i race it on a dirt track.....not sure on the miles wht do u think would be a good # for cylinder compression??

MAYBE, now people, correct me if I'm wrong, I'd say 120-130ish, maybe...

Does it pull hard still???

i mean it pulls i got a pm7 in it and i use only 2nd gear to rev limiter.....it pulls it is really hard to tell as it may just b spinning as it is on dirt.

A leak down test will tell you more about the health of your engine.

A leak down tester uses air from a compressor and measures the rate at which it leaks through the engine...

hey man i got just under 175 in each cylinder.....i had from cyl #1 175 175 180 185....then after this weekends races i have just under 175 all across.....it may have been a bad reading...but ima just go ahead and change the head gasket this week prolly.
