6x9 Subwoofer in a '94 Prelude
Let me start out by saying that I am a novice when it comes to car audio, so if there is any other information you all need let me know and I'll answer it as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
Like the title says, I have a 1994 Honda Prelude VTEC, it has a space for a 6x9 speaker in between the two back seats. Right now I have a basic Alpine System. Alpine Head Unit, Alpine Components in the Front, and some more 6.5's in the rear running off of an Alpine Amplifier.
Here's the dilemna, I'm looking for a little extra bass but I'd rather good have good sound quality than more bass. I have a set of Harmon Kardon Powered Subwoofer's from a BMW as well as a set of Kicker Free Air 6x9's. I'm wondering if it is worth it to install the subwoofer or if I should just leave it be. I know it's not to difficult to hook up a Subwoofer but I'm more than likely completely redoing my entire sound system in a year or two.
Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
